The title of this site comes from Psalm 119:9. In this verse the psalmist presented a simple way in which people were to live holy lives before God. They did so “according to your word.” By keeping God’s commandments and following his words to them, they fulfilled their responsibility to the covenant God made with them.

Our lives are lived in much the same way. It is God’s word that reveals to us our sinful state and God’s redemptive plan for us. We need his word for salvation through faith in Jesus. And we need his word to guard our path as we walk in obedience and faith.
